What we're about... At New Horizons we believe the Christian faith is one of love and serving: loving God loving Others serving The World
Loving God We recognize that we are all at a different place on our spiritual journey. Some of us have been following Christ for many years, others have just begun. Regardless, we realize that our primary goal is to learn how to love God. This goal is a life-long process and we are passionate about loving God more every day.
Loving Others The best way our love for God is seen is by how we love each other. The Bible tells us that the Christian life is all about loving each other. Often an idea as simple as this is easier said than done, but we've come to realize that genuine love for others is what people are looking for.
Serving The World
In the Bible, Matthew chapter 25 tells us that we should be serving: feeding the hungry, giving a drink to the thirsty, welcoming strangers, giving clothes to the needy, and caring for the sick and those in prison. We not only want to be called "christians", but we also want our actions to show that we follow Christ.
